Monthly Woo-For-You: December 2017

Christel Inspiration & Spirituality Leave a Comment

Oh my god. Do you also feel like this year has just flown by? In an instant. We’re on the threshold of 2018. One more month. A month when we’re often more occupied and busy with Christmas and parties and shopping.

I often feel December is a rush-month, stressy for many people. So keep an eye out for my soon to come do’s and don’ts to practice some Holiday-Self-care.

On the other hand, if you adore Christmas and all it brings, please do enjoy it. Enjoy your loved ones. And whatever it is that Christmas represents for you. But do take the “have to’s” out of your vocabulary.

“A huge part of recovery and life is slowing down and accepting the unKNOWN. This is how you get to KNOW –yourself.”

Monthly Tarot Card – The Hermit

Meaning: The Hermit has a few different meanings. It can simply mean a time-out. Some time away from all the noise. A period where you withdraw from the busy-ness of the world and you retreat within yourself or your inner circle.
On a deeper level, The Hermit indicates it’s time for introspection. Time to take a deep look within. If you’re looking for answers or solutions, the answers are within you, and you can find them by becoming quiet and listening to and trusting your inner voice.
The Hermit can also call for some time away so you can get a different perspective on stuff. If we keep on turning in the same rounds, we never get anywhere. But the Hermit can provide answers if we are willing to become quiet and go within.
Sometimes the Hermit can mean someone will show up as a teacher for you.

Advice: When the Hermit shows up, it’s time to go within, to get quiet and withdraw from the everyday rush.
Maybe you need a different way of looking at your life or business, job, career. Or even at the people around you.
This card can also mean you may find help by seeking counsel from a mentor, a therapist, a coach or a dear one.
And often it means that it’s time to do some research, some studying, to become a fact finder and learn more about something.

Moon Swoon & Astro Babble

Full Moon in Gemini on December 3rd at 3.47 pm GMT:

This full moon is a Super Moon, which means its energy is amplified. Plus, it coincides with the beginning of Mercury Retrograde, which lasts until December 23rd. Because of the retrograde period, this Full Moon may slow things down, and you may feel stuck. It’s important not to fight the slow energy, because things that need to become clear, will surface, as this Full Moon is in Gemini.

Full Moons are times when you let go and start again. Forgive! And this Moon isn’t any different, but it can feel more difficult because of the Mercury retrograde. There can be misunderstandings between family members and close friends, but in a way that’s good, because it can clear the air. Gemini, after all, is about truth and communication. So even though things may be said in a not so delicate way, take this opportunity to talk it out.

In any case, trust your intuition, because this time can feel strange with magnified emotions.  Neptune is also in play here and can make you perceive things in the wrong way. Or leave you open to deception by others. So trust your instincts.

Mercury goes retrograde from December 3rd until December 23rd, 2017.

For some, this can be quite difficult. When Mercury, Messenger of the Gods, moves backwards, it can mess up communications, but also technology and travel are under its influence. So back up your computers, take into account you may have delays or glitches when travelling. Be careful how you communicate with loved ones.

This is your Woo for this month, but I don’t want to leave without wishing you great holidays and a beautiful beginning of 2018. Take care. Of yourself, your loved ones, and people who need your help.
Make this last month count and start prepping for a brilliant 2018.
