“Drop the idea of becoming someone, because you are already a masterpiece. You cannot be improved. You have only to come to it, to know it, to realize it.”
On The Quote:
In our modern day society we are under pressure to become “someone important”. We do this by trying to prove ourselves, to prove our worth. Unfortunately that worth is not based upon who we are, but on what we do, how much we earn, what we own, how we perform.
When we base our worth on these pillars, we risk becoming an act in our self-created circus. We lose sight of our real selves, our true dreams. And what’s more, we become ruled by fear. Fear of failure, fear of loss, fear of not good enough.
Think one moment of how it is you feel not worthy, a failure, not good enough. Then ask yourself this two simple questions: “Is it true?”.
“Can I absolutely be sure it is true?”
Examine with an open and honest mind. And see what answer you come up with.
